Amy was walking around the Hogwarts grounds when her eyes traveled over to the Whomping Willow. She knew that there was a way to get to the Shreiking Shack through there. Amy has never really been in the Shreiking Shack. She has wanted to go in for awhile, but no one would go with her. Amy finally just said 'whatever' and decided to go up to the Shreiking Shack. She walked over to the willow and took out her wand. With a flick of it, the tree stopped. She was grateful for Immobilius. Anywho, Amy crawled into the hole that lead to the shack. "Lumos." she whispered, wanting light. The hole was pretty dark considering it was underground. Amy followed the path, and soon ended up in a room. She looked around disappointed. "This isn't scary." Amy walked over to the bed, and sat down, scanning the room to see if anything scary was around.

Being his father's son and George's nephew, James had discovered the passage to the Shrieking Shack- that and having stolen the Marauder's Map in his third year, and returning it of course, that was once Harry's and Ginny had given to Lily. In turn James had inherited the invisibility cloak. And it was this same cloak James was under now, wandering the grounds. It was just as he was passing the Whomping Willow he saw a familiar face, his cousin Amy. She immobilized the tree and snuck through the passage. James followed planning to surprise her.

James and Amy, cousins but never especially close, but as daughter of one of favourite uncles he spent a lot of time around her house. Despite her being a Slytherin, they got along. They were family after all.

He followed Amy up to the bedroom, where she sat on the collapsing bed and said, "this isn't scary." It was then James dropped the cloak and cried "boo!" jumping slightly towards Amy.

Amy jumped when someone said boo. Once she found out it was her cousin, James, she laughed softly and threw a ripped up, moth-eaten pillow at him. "Never do that again!" At first, she was excited. Maybe there was really something scary up here, but it was only her cousin. "What are you doing up here anyway?" Amy and her family got along, no matter what house they are in. She didn't care. They were family. Family was the most important thing to her. She loved every single family member she knew she had. And, there's a lot of them. They could be annoying or boring or anything that she doesn't usually like, she loves them because they are family.

James couldn't help but chuckle as Amy jumped and quickly dodged the pillow Amy chucked at him. It landed softly at his feet and James gave it a gentle kick, just to make sure it wasn't alive. The Shrieking was nothing but grotty, infested with all sorts of things, you got never be too careful. "Never do that again!" cried Amy but James just flashed a cheeky smile, "did I scare you?" he asked, one eyebrow raised. "What are you doing up here anyway?" she asked and James smiled, "oh didn't you know? This is my favourite hang out," he started to move about the room, "how could it not be? Great view..." he said as he approached the window, "sturdy structure," he said hitting the wall and watched as the flakes fell gracefully to the wall, "and comfy furnaiture," he said bouncing on to the bed Amy was sat on, only to feel a particularly sharp spring hit it buttock. Wincing he shifting sightly and came to face his cousin, "and what are you doing here young lady?"

Amy smirkedish smiled when James sat on a spring. She found that funny. She listened as he explained why he was here. The only thing she thought was true was the fact that it had a good view. But, the sturdiness and the comfort was a little exaggerated. "Hm...What am I doing here?" Amy had forgotten why she had come up here. That happened a lot. She forgets things easily. "Ooh!" She had just remembered. "I have always wanted to go up here to see what it was. But, no one would go with me, so I've never gotten the chance. I figured since I was bored, now would be the perfect time to come."

James rolled his eyes as his cousin attempted to remember why she was here, "you are such a ditz," he said pushing her lightly, finally Amy came up with an answer, which was by no means as interesting as James' answer but he nodded and looked as though he cared about Amy's boredem. "Has Amy got no friends?" James mocked her in a silly voice, sticking his bottom lip out so far someone could sit on it. "I don't blame them though, I mean who would want to be friends with you..." he continued but he chuckled to show he was joking.

James look around the Shrieking Shack, "you've always wanted to come here?" he asked a little astonished, "why on earth?" he said picking some of the mould off the mattress and flicking it at Amy.
